Placement Required

This class is an intermediate to advanced level pointe class geared towards third year pointe students and beyond. Students learn how to use the advanced ballet technique that is taught within their normal classes, and push it further to be able to execute the same techniques on pointe. Students continue to improve upon their pointe technique, proper positioning, and advanced pointe steps. Pointe 2 class meets for an hour each week in addition to wearing pointe shoes, a portion of technique class every week, and as needed when working on choreography. Placement required.

Before the first day of your child's class, please complete and return the 2025-2026 Schauer School of the Arts waiver via email to the Education Director at classes@schauercenter.org. If this isn't convenient, you may bring a hard copy to the box office Monday through Friday, 12:00–5:00 pm or give the waiver form to the instructor on the first day of class. Blank waiver forms will be available for parents to fill out on the first day of class if needed.
