Accessibility

The Schauer Arts Center is committed to accommodating your accessibility needs. If you have needs other than those listed here, please contact the Box Office at 262-670-0560 x3. Patrons with special needs should notify the Box Office when tickets are purchased, before the performance. Handicapped parking, wheelchair seating, hearing assistance listening devices, and other special services will be on a best efforts basis and cannot be guaranteed.

Wheelchair Seating

The Schauer Arts Center has wheelchair accessible seating available to wheelchair patrons and their companions (subject to availability). Please note: everyone must have a ticket to be admitted to a show. Patrons must identify the need for wheelchair seating when purchasing tickets to ensure accessible seating is available.  Service animals welcome.

Handicap Accessible Parking

Several handicap parking spaces are available in the public parking lot located in front of the Schauer Arts Center. Patrons may also be dropped off at the front of the building by using our circular drive.

Box Office Accessibility

A wheelchair-accessible, automated door into the Schauer Arts Center is available.

Sight and Hearing Impaired

The Schauer Arts Center offers hearing assistance listening devices available upon request and are available on a first come, first serve basis at the Box Office on the day of the performances. There is no charge to use a listening device, but a photo ID is required. Hearing assist devices do not work with some in-ear hearing aids.  Sign language interpretation requests will be fulfilled pending advance request and availability of interpreters. Please be sure to inform the Box Office of any special needs while ordering tickets to ensure suitable arrangements can be made.  Service animals welcome.

Restrooms

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available to patrons on both the first and second levels of the facility.
