Ages 8+ years
Preschool Ballet ages 3-4, Beginner Ballet ages 5-7, and Elementary Ballet ages 8+ are the introductory, building blocks of ballet taught during convenient morning classes separate from the ballet program for homeschool and stay-at-home families. Each level continues to learn the fundamental steps, technique, vocabulary, musicality, ballet etiquette, and classroom skills. Class will include center barre (Elementary Ballet begins using the ballet barre) and movements across the floor. Each level builds off of the last as students review and continue to build upon the steps previously learned. Each class meets once a week. Preschool Ballet for 30 minutes, Beginner for 45 minutes, and Elementary for an hour.

Before the first day of your child's class, please complete and return the 2025-2026 Schauer School of the Arts waiver via email to the Education Director at classes@schauercenter.org. If this isn't convenient, you may bring a hard copy to the box office Monday through Friday, 12:00–5:00 pm or give the waiver form to the instructor on the first day of class. Blank waiver forms will be available for parents to fill out on the first day of class if needed.
