Many of us have a passion for the arts—it could be art, music, theater or dance. Whatever your passion may be, one, some, or all of the above, you can find your heartbeat here. That heartbeat can be slow, fast or somewhere in between. The Schauer Arts Center has offerings in entertainment, the Schauer School of the Arts and event rental offerings. We also have Resident Tenant Groups you can join. You may have played in band, sang in a choir, created art, danced or acted in the past. As you got older and responsibilities grew, you may have lost touch with the arts. You can find your heartbeat again and be an active part in the community by shaping the future of the arts at the Schauer Arts Center.
The arts teach us discipline, patience, confidence, bring people together and build the bridge between logic and creativity. At the Schauer Arts Center, we strive to make the arts available to everyone in the community and surrounding communities who want the same experience. We do that by developing, supporting and promoting the arts.

Meet the staff and instructors from the Schauer Arts Center and our Resident Tenant Groups: The Hartford Players, Ltd., Hartford City Band, Kettle Moraine Fine Arts Guild and Hartford Community Chorus. See our schedule to connect with your interests. We will also have children’s activities, live performances, tours and giveaways throughout the day.
