Friends of the Schauer

Our annual Friends campaign helps facilitate day-to-day operations of the Schauer Center.  Ticket sales, tuition fees, and facility rental income only go so far in covering the necessary costs of a successful organization.  Season after season, it is the generosity of our neighbors and patrons that keeps our mission alive and our doors open.

*The Schauer Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The non-deductive value of goods received is $50 for donations at the Sustainer level and above.

Other Giving Opportunities
Commemorative Gifts are a unique way to honor someone special.  Whether expressing admiration for a person who made an impact on your life or recognizing a significant occasion, a gift in honor or memory of your loved one builds a brighter future for the Kettle Moraine Region.

Commemorative gifts are not associated with the Friends Campaign, but will be recognized as ‘Memorial and Honorary Gifts.’  Individuals being honored will be listed alphabetically under the appropriate title in our Annual Report.

Matching Gifts offer the opportunity to double the impact of your annual donation.  Please check with your employer to see if they are willing to match your support. Businesses that provide matching gifts will be recognized as ‘Matching Gift Companies’ in our Annual Report – the actual matching gift amount provided by the company will be allocated to the employee so they can receive the maximum benefit of their contribution.

Planned Giving creates a lasting tribute to the arts through a living will.  Please let us know your intentions of making the Schauer Center one of your beneficiaries so that we can ensure you get the greatest possible satisfaction from your gift.

Endowment Fund donations become a permanent investment, ensuring the continued growth of the Schauer Center.

Education & Inspiration Fund contributions provide financial aid to eligible students for Community School of the Arts classes.
