Ballroom Dance

Since January 2008, the Schauer School of Dance has offered ballroom classes for ages 16 and above.  Whether you've never danced before or if you've already got some moves, our classes feature different styles, including Fox Trot, Waltz, Rumba, Merengue, Tango, Swing, Cha-Cha, and Salsa.  Private lessons are also available upon request and can be tailored to your skill level.  Offerings vary by semester, view the current class schedule.

Ballroom Dress Code
Students should wear clothing that they can move easily in.  Although a specific shoe is not required, dress shoes with a heel are reccomended for women.  We request that whatever shoe a student wears to class is not worn during class.  Street shoes are not allowed in order to ensure that the elements from outside are not brought onto the dance floor.
