A confirmation letter/invoice, along with a Schooltime Matinee contract, will be sent within one (1) business day of your reservation. Please review your reservation carefully. If there are no changes, sign and return the contract to the Schauer Center by the stated due date. If you do not receive your confirmation or your reservation is incorrect, please contact the Schauer Center as soon as possible. Reservations may be cancelled without notice if the Schauer Center does not receive a signed contract.
AGE GUIDELINES
Each show has grade level recommendations that the Schauer Center has received from the performance company; please follow them as appropriate.
Regardless of recommendations all children must have turned 4 years old by September 1, 2008 in order to attend the Schooltime Matinee series
Children who are not part of a school group cannot attend Schooltime Matinees. No babies in arms will be admitted.
PAYMENT
Although Payment is not due when the reservation is placed, please adhere to the following:
A minimum of 60 days’ notice is required for all reservation cancellations. If a cancellation is requested after this deadline, the school will still be responsible for the balance of the original reservation amount. Reservations placed after the cancellation dates are considered final sales.
Payment must be received 30 days prior to the performance or seats may be forfeited. Payment due date is located on your confirmation.
If additional seats are needed within 30 days of the performance they must be paid for, in full, at time of order (with a credit card over the phone or in person with cash or check).
No cash or checks from individual students/parents, please. Payment must be made on a singe check (payable to the Schauer Center). Parents may not purchase tickets directly from the Schauer Center.
No changes can be made within two (2) business days of your scheduled performance.
No refunds will be issued for unused seats.
SEATING
The appropriate number of seats will be held at time reservation, however, seating assignment is NOT determine by reservation date. Early payment may result in preferential seating.
A seat must be reserved for everyone in your group. Reservation totals must reflect all students, aides, teachers, and parents/chaperones attending.
Seating capacity is determined on an event-by-event basis.
All seats are $5.50 each. You receive one free bonus admission for every 20 paid seats.
Tickets are not issued. Usher will take your group to their assigned seats.
WEATHER-RELATED ISSUES
The Schauer Center will decide to cancel, delay or postpone a show due to weather by 8:00 am on the day of the performance. Call 262-670-0560, ext. 201 for more information.
Schooltime Matinees are only cancelled if performers cannot make it due to weather. Weather-related cancellations issued by the Schauer Center will offer an alternative performance date or a full refund.
If a school is unable to attend a performance due to weather (ie, school is closed or delayed), a credit will be issued to the school so they may attend a future Schooltime Matinee performance.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
All performances are held in the Schauer Center’s Ruth A. Knoll Theater.
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before show time. Late arrivals will be seated when appropriate, based on the performance.
Performances run for one hour, unless otherwise noted.
All events,dates and times are subject to change.
Children must be four years old to attend Schooltime Matinee performances.
A minimum of one (1) chaperone is recommended for each 15 students attending a performance and should be included in your reservation. Parents/chaperones may not purchase tickets separately of the school group.
Chaperones may not bring other children—babies in arms will not be permitted in the theater. Schooltime Matinees are not open to the public.
