you enter on our Web site or give to us in any other way. We use the
information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your
requests, customizing future visits for you, improving our customer

communicate with us via e-mail, information volunteered by the consumer,
such as ticket reservations, name and address, telephone number, payment
information (e.g., credit card number and billing address) and information
volunteered on any order or subscription form.

Information: We receive and store certain types of information
whenever you interact with us. For example, as do many web sites, we use
"cookies," which obtain certain types of information when your
web browser accesses our site. For
each visitor to our web page, our web server automatically recognizes the
visitor’s computer IP address.
We may not be able to provide you with a personalized experience at
the Schauer Arts and Activities Center, Inc., site, if we cannot recognize

the web site.

purchasing tickets or other merchandise online. You may also receive

- First and foremost, the information we collect is
used to serve you. The information
we collect is also used to improve the content of our Web page, used to
notify consumers about updates to our Web site, used by us to contact
consumers for marketing purposes, used to improve our services, and in
other appropriate ways designed to fulfill the mission of the Center.
Does Schauer Arts and
Activities Center Inc Share the Information It Receives?

about our customers is an important part of our business, but we are not
in the business of selling it to others. We may occasionally share
customer information with local arts groups such as the Hartford
Players. The only information we
share is mailing addresses and excludes e-mail, credit card information,
phone number and any other personal information.
- We may
occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our
behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings,
providing customer support, processing transactions or performing
statistical analysis of our services.
We will only provide those companies the personal information they
need to deliver the service. They
will be required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and
will be prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
- Information
may be disclosed when legally required at the request of governmental
authorities conducting an investigation, used to verify or enforce
compliance with the policies governing our web site and applicable laws,
or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our web site or
facilities, etc.
- We may also, from time to time, collect information
in the form of scholarship applications, etc. We understand that these may contain highly personal
information, and it is our policy not to release that information beyond
the purpose of the application.
(For instance, an application may be shared with people on a
committee to select the scholarship winner.)
How Secure Is Information
About Me?
- We
work to protect the security of your information during transmission by
using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you
input.

reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when
confirming an order. Of course, we
transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card
company during order processing.

in place in our physical and technological facilities to protect against
the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from
you at our site. These measures
are consistent with the sound standards and practices of organizations of
this type and size.
- Our employee manual incorporates this Privacy Policy
by reference, and it is our strict policy that no employee should ever use
information possessed by the Center for any purpose outside of the
specific duties of their employment.

not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in

notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out
of these new uses.
Upon request we provide our
customers and site visitors with access to the personal information that we
maintain about them, including financial information (e.g., credit card account
information) that we maintain about them, transaction information (e.g., dates
on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) that we
maintain about them, communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to
