1. Multiple Class/Sibling Discount: If registering for more than one class or enrolling more than one family member, you are eligible for a 10% discount. Participants must pay the FULL tuition fee for the class with the highest tuition, but then are entitled to enroll at the discount rate for the lower tuition class(es). Discounted tuition rates are noted in the class listings. Special exception: KMCC and one-day workshops are not subject to 10% multiple class/sibling discounts.
   
   
2. Registration Fee Policy: A one time registration fee of $10 per student, per semester applies to any student enrolling in CSA programs regardless of when registration occurs and/or the number of classes taken. Also - the maximum registration fee per family is $40 any given semester. This fee is non refundable except in cases where the class is cancel.
   
   
3. Payment Plans: Special payment plans may be arranged with the Schauer Center for any class with a tuition fee of $100 or more. However, a minimum of 1/2 of the tuition fee must be paid prior to the start of the first class/lesson/rehearsal.
   
   
4. Class Size: All CSA classes carry a minimum/maximum class-size condition the determines if the class with be offered. Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment level will not be offered during the present session, but could be offered again at the next CSA session, or a later time. Maximum levels are determined by classroom space or instructor/student ratios.
   
   
5. Student Absences: Classes, lessons, or rehearsals missed by student due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or any other reason cannot be made-up.
   
   
6. Refund Policy: Notification of withdrawal and requests or refunds must be submitted in writing to the Director of the Schauer Center.  A 50% refund of the tuition in the form of a gift certificate will be in effect through the second class/rehearsal. After the second class, NO refunds will are permitted.
   
   
7. Winter Weather Conditions: If the weather is questionable, please call the Schauer Arts Center to inquire about cancellations, or listen to WTKM for up-to-date information about classes affected by the weather. Information concerning cancellations will be listed with radio station WTKM, AM 1540 and FM 104.9. Weekdays, when Hartford schools close due to weather conditions, Schauer CSA programs will also be cancelled for that day. Classes and programs will be rescheduled at the discretion of the instructor.
