The Schauer Center is a vital resource that fosters, supports, and enriches the cultural, educational, and social well being of our regional community. We are a gathering place where people from all walks of life achieve a sense of belonging and benefit from enjoying and participating in the arts.
~Schauer Center Vision Statement ~
Located approximately 40 minutes from the city of Milwaukee, the Schauer Arts and Activities Center is a comprehensive arts/theater complex located in downtown Hartford, sharing a property also occupied by the Wisconsin Automotive Museum (the largest museum of its kind in the state). The Schauer Center, opened in February 2001, boasts 571-seat theatre, an art gallery, a rehearsal hall, high-tech meeting rooms, prep kitchen and a community hall with seating capacity of 300.
