Policies

Expectations
The expectation that all students enter KMYSO making a commiment to themselves and their ensemble by:

· Practicing a minimum of 1 hour per week outside of structured lessons or rehearsals.
· Being enrolled in their school orchestra or studying lessons privately.
· Making all rehersal and performance dates priority upon receiving session schedule.
· Understanding and adhering to the attendence policy below, including the reporting of absences as soon as possible.

Attendance
Regular attendance is essential.  If a student is to miss rehearsal he or she must let the Schauer Center know prior to the start of rehearsal.  Notification can be sent via email or call 262-670-0560, ext. 4.  Students must attend a minimum of 75% of rehearsals to be eligible to participate in performances.  Students must also attend both onstage rehearsals to perform in the December concert.
