Bartenders
Positions available for part-time experienced bartenders with flexible hours that encompass nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of 1 year of bartending experience. Qualifying candidates will be outgoing, courteous, positive, professional, and familiar with bartending in an upscale environment. Must have a City of Hartford bartending license.

Instructors
We are always in search of qualified, professional teacher-artists to join our faculty. Candidates should have previous teaching experience with academic and/or professional expertise in their discipline. We accept proposals for youth and adult classes in visual arts, theater, dance, and music.

Internships
The Schauer Center has internship opportunities for students who would like to gain professional administrative or technical experience at a performing arts center. Applicants should be highly motivated individuals who have acquired basic training in the arts, can work independently, as well as part of a team, and are looking to explore their field further. Compensation may include a small stipend, housing assistance, and/or college credit. Part-time internships are available on a semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) or full season (September-May) basis in the areas of Arts Management and Technical Theater.
Arts Management internship duties include assistance in promotion of the Schauer Center's performing arts series and facility through marketing/advertising, development/fundraising, special events, and administrative work. Candidates should have good writing, research, computer, and organizational skills. Special emphasis is available in either Marketing or Development.
The Technical Theater internship position will work with sound, lighting, and backstage operations of Schauer Center performances and events. Candidates should have experience in theater production and a flexible schedule.
